Seriously WHERE DID TIME GO?? My baby is 2 months?! I seriously cannot belive it. She had her 2 month Dr. apt today and here are her stats: Weight 10.8(40%), Heighth 22.75!!(60%), and her head 38.5(50%). Basically she is our little string bean:-) She also got her shots today....now that was SO sad!! I think her Daddy will go to the next apt when more shots are needed!! I can't believe how much fun the last 2 months have been!! I just love her so much!! It's amazing the love you have for someone you've only known for 2 months! I go back to work tomorrow and I have so many mixed feelings. I love the people I work for/with so that helps make it easier, she will be in the best hands while I am at work...but I don't want to leave her!! If I could win the lottery now it would be fantastic:-D Anyways, here are things about my My during her 2nd month:

* She will watch cartoons for about 20 minutes and be totally into it

*She loves her swing

*She loves her Nana and Papa

*She is really smiling now

*She is starting to make baby talk.....which I LOVE

*She will sit in her bouncer while I am getting ready, making dinner etc. and just watch and smile

*She is so close to sitting up, she'd prefer to be in the sitting position instead of cuddled....it makes me sad but she feels she needs to grow up fast I guess

*Her daddy gets the biggest smiles out of her.....she might be a daddys girl:-D

She is basically just the cutest little girl I know:-D I'm bias I know. Little Miss Maiyah we love you so much and are so blessed and happy that we get to have you forever!! Love ya string bean!

Time Flies When Your Havin Fun

WOW! I have not posted since February 5 I am sure my small club of blog followers are just so upset about this :-P! Time has gone by to quickly and we are having so much fun spending time with our sweet little girl!! Our little Maiyah will be 2 months old on the 28th of this month and she is growing like crazy!! I can't even believe how fast time goes! They say to love every minute of it because it goes by fast and they are NOT kidding! I look at pictures of when we first brought her home and it is crazy how much she has changed! Here are a few fun things about her:

*She smiles and giggles SO much in her sleep! She will giggle so loud she will wake herself up. But while she is awake we've only captured a handful of smiles....I can't wait until they start happening more!!
*She loves loves to ride in the car
*She is a BiNkY BaBy and is constantly sucking on that thing!
*She is basically sleeping through the night!!
*All she needs if she wakes up in the night is to feel her mommy or daddys hand on her belly and she goes right back to sleep
*She has the strongest neck and can sit for a long time holding her neck up all by herself.
*She has the longest fingers and the longest toes! We call them her MoNkEy ToEs
*She loves her baths! I think she would stay in the water all day if she could
*She loves to sleep on her daddys chest
*When she sleeps she almost always has her hands up by her chin in a folded prayer looking position
*She is the biggest wiggle worm, ecspecially during the night
*She is so sweet and we just love her so much!! She is also very loved by her Nana and Papa and all her Uncles! I think the longest she has gone without one of them coming to visit her is....2 days:-D We love all the visits! She is also so very loved by her "Vegas Family" she was loved on by her Grandma and Aunts when they came down to meet her and come to her blessing! she is just one loved girl!

On March 7 we blessed our sweet little angel, it was such a great day! We had so many friends and family come out to show their support and love. We are so blessed with such amazing people in our lives!

On January 28, 2010 our lives were forever changed. Our little angel was born at 2:51pm weighing in at a healthy 7.1lbs and 20 inches. She is perfect and we love her more than words can express.

Labor/Delivery were much easier than I had anticipated! I had worked myself up to this horrible thing. And really it was not bad....of course that was AFTER the epidural. My sweet Dr. offered to start me and I quickly took her up on her offer..A. I was SO excited to meet this little bean that had been in me for 9 months B. I was in pain because she was so LOW and C. I was already dilated to a 4.5! So we went in Thursday morning at 8:00am. We got all settled in and at 10:30 my Dr. came in and broke my water. When I was dilated to a 6 I was ready for the epidural. I will say for me that was the WORST PART. It was great that the contractions were gone but to me it was painful, but worth it:-D Then at 2:00pm I was checked and dilated to a 10 and ready to push! To hear that was crazy! Because I knew we were SO close to seeing our sweet little girl. Finally at 2:51 our sweet little Maiyah Serenity Groft was here!! She was perfect and healthy and we couldn't have asked for a sweeter little girl.

I can't believe it has already been a week! She changes everyday, and she does not look like the little peanut we brought home from the hospital. She is so much fun even when we have sleepless nights and fussy times:-D She is constantly being spoiled by her nana and papa who love to pay her a visit everyday. Her uncles love her and the Groft side of the family cannot wait to meet her. She is one lucky girl to have such an amazing family!!

As for her Daddy....wow, she has him wrapped around his finger already! She is going to be one spoiled little girl! I can't believe the love I felt for him when I saw him hold her for the first time! He is such an amazing man and was amazing through the whole delivery! I could not have asked for a better husband.

Well here they are, my maternity pictures! I am so happy with the way they turned out. It was really weird to have my big ol' belly exposed but my photographer, Miss Ali Lundell, did a great job! They will be fun picctures to look back on to see when our sweet little baby girl was still baking in the oven! I can't believe how close we are getting to having her here! It seems like just yesterday we were telling friends and family we were expecting! now we are basically a month away, CRAZY! I have enjoyed pregnancy for the most part, my back has been causing me major problems but when I feel her moving around it makes all the pain worthwhile. I can't believe that God has given us this amazing blessing to be able to raise a child. We truly feel blessed and priveleged. We are both so excited and are just counting down the days until our special delivery gets here.

WOWOWW!! It has been awhile! Seriously life is just flying right on by! Here is a long update, feel free to read if you would like. Well I will just start where I left off last blog post! That was a long time ago so here it goes!

HaLlOwEeN: Here are some randoms of Halloween, my mom always has dinner and games at her house on Halloween. It's really fun because I just love being with my family and having a good time. We missed Quinten and Mackenzie!! They decided to go to a "friends" Halloween party. But here are a few pics of carving pumpkins and hanging with the family!

BaBy ShoWeR: On November 19 I had a baby shower thrown for me! It was so nice and I got so many great things and super cute little girl stuff. I have such great friends that are so supportive and I am so thankful to everyone that was there! We seriously have been so blessed when it comes to help for this little one! We had a crib and glider gifted to us by our great friends, my 2nd mother gifted me an adorable crib bedding set and so many others have just given us things! The only main item we have had to buy ourselves was a changing table. Seriously we are so blessed....just thinking about it brings me to tears. So thank you all that came to my shower and suppported me and the start of my little family and to all of those that have gone above and beyond to make this pregnancy not stressful with worrying about how to buy things! You are all so amazing!!

My mom did such a great job throwing the baby shower! She was so sweet of her to do that for me and I am very thankful to her and Ali and Lindsey for helping with food!! And for my dad helping my mom out because she works a lot! He was super helpful!! Again SO BLESSED!!!

NeW mOoN pReMiErE: Angie and I went to the Midnight premiere of NeW mOoN yes I am in love with the books and the movies! New Moon was aweseome and way better than Twilight! But seriously the ending was not my favorite! Now just like with the books, I have to countdown the days until the 3rd one comes out! And I will plan on going to the premiere of that one to!!

While we were at the theater they had a best costume contest...well no one really had costumes on and since me and Angie were matching twinner shirts that said Bite Me....Please. We decided to go up and say we were Ang was Bella before the honeymoon and I was Bella AFTER the honeymoon:-D I am pretty sure the belly won that constest for us! We won a bag with Jacob on the front of it. We had a lot of fun! I just love Angie and she is so much fun to do things with! Ang, mark your calendar for #3!! :-D

ThAnKsGiViNg: Every year for Thanksgiving we spend it with the Groft side in Junction Utah, well this year I forgot to pick up my dang camera! So the only pictures are the ones below, we went on a little drive headed up to Bryce Canyon and stopped and took some pictures. We had a great time with his family! It is always fun to get together with them because we don't get to see them as often as we would both like to. One of my favorite parts when we go there is we get to go up on the mountain and cut down our own Christmas tree! I love real christmas trees and the smell of a fresh one from off the mountain is AmAzInG!

My BiRtHdAy: 24 years old! WOWOWOW! My hubby is seriously the best birthday planner! My morning started out by my alarm going off to wake me up for work but something was different. The sound of the alarm was not my normal tune so when I leaned over to figure out what was going on there was a NEW IPHONE!! I was so excited! (by the way it is seriously the best phone in the world and I don't know how I have lived without it!:-D) So I go to work and around 11:00 I had a special delivery....a fruit flower bouquet delivered! It looked so cute I didn't want to eat it but as soon as I took a bite I knew it would be devoured! I left work early that day because we had a baby apt(update below) and after the baby apt he took me to a suprise place for dinner. Well turns out the suprise place was my ALL TIME favorite restaurant..Tepanyaki! As we walk in the door I see my whole family sitting there! AHH! He had arranged dinner with my entire family at Tepanyaki. Then for dessert...another one of my favorite a COLSTONE icecream cake!!I love him! I was spoiled beyond spoiled on my birthday by my hubby, family and friends. It was a great birthday!

BaBy MaIyAh UpDaTe: Seriously pregnancy is VERY interesting the changes your body makes and the movements your child makes in your belly! It is so crazy! I am now 33 weeks! I can't even believe it! Everything looks great with the little one and they predict her weight right now is 4lbs. So cute! She is growing great, heartbeat perfect and she is head down!! Lets just hope she stays that way! I really cannot believe how fast time is going. I am getting so NERVOUS! Don't get me wrong I am VERY EXCITED but wow the thought of having my own child.....kinda crazy!I don't think the realness of it all will hit until she is laying in my arms. I am due January 30, 2010 and am wanting December to slow down so I can get everything in order!! Her daddy is so excited for her to get here! It is so fun watching him talk to her(through the belly) and how she responds to his voice! He is going to be a great daddy and she is super lucky to get him! But that's the update...all is good!

FuRrY cHiLd: Haha ok so I am not going to write much just but LOOK AT THAT FACE hers not mine! She has been my baby thus far and I am very interested to see how she will react to a baby in the home taking all of momma's attention. She is so cute and I just love her....yes I am a crazy dog owner that loves their dog as much as a person! Her update....well she is as dog and she is doing great!

MaTeRnItY pIcTuReS: My friend Ali as a birthday birthday present told me she wanted to take Maternity pictures for me! AHHH though I was a little scared to show off my belly I am happy to say she did an amazing job and I can't wait to have them back! Here is just a peek of one that she did! Well I haven't posted anything new for over a month! Time flies when you have so much going on! Here are a few things we have been up to over the last month.

Had a girls overnighter with my mom in Park City (I didn't take one picture!! I can't believe it!) But we had so much fun shopping, seeing a movie and shopping for little girl clothes! We went into Carter's and my mom lost it:-D She started grabbing everything off the shelves! Our little one is going to be so spoiled by her Nana! She already has an extensive ward robe and she is only 26 weeks Fetus age:-D Her daddy is already worried about these shopping habits!

Circus: I love to do the fun childish things, so when I heard the circus was coming I knew I wanted to go:-D So I asked the hubs, and although he kindly said if I wanted to go he would go with me I could tell deep down he was thinking WHAT?! THE CIRCUS! So I called on my to favorite people that I know aren't afraid to do Kid things and be a Kid for the day! My Mom and little brother Stetsen. Here are a few pics of the Circus. It was very cool and wasn't as kiddy as I remembered! We all enjoyed ourselves very much! Stetsen Missed the Smile Cue:-D
I love the fall and my husband loves to play golf. So we decided to get both of those things into one activity and went golfing at Sherwood Hills. He golfed and I snapped pictures the whole time! I love all the colors of the fall! Here are some pictures of our little golfing adventure!
I got a new job! I am working at Cragun Law Firm. I love it. It was hard for me to leave a job I had been at for over 4 years, but it was time for a change and this has been a great change. I work with a great friend of mine and the other ladies in the office are amazing! The attorneys there are great to. Another great thing about this job is I work four 10's! So I am really enjoying the extra long weekends! It is just an all around great Law Firm.

Baby stuff. I am currently 26 weeks! And under 100 on my baby counter:-D WOW! I cannot believe how fast it has gone! It seems like just yesterday I was telling friends and family we were expecting! Everything looks great with the little one and she is growing great and moving around like crazy! I love that feeling and wish she would just move around all the time! I think when she is here that will definately be something I miss. Feeling her move all around kick, punch, turn is so much fun. I have been doing a little here and there with her nursery but I think it's finished. I know I still have a ways to go and most people don't worry about the nursery until way into there pregnancy but I have a little OCD when it comes to planning and having things ready! So at 26weeks her nursery is ready for her. With all the free time I have with having Friday's off now I just decided to get her room ready. It helps me stay away from the baby clothing stores! I found the cutest saying and I just had to incorporate it in her room, the lettering on the mirror says: "With a butterfly kiss and a ladybug hug, sleep tight little one like a bug in a rug".

I am 20 weeks and 1 day:-D We are very excited for our Dr.'s appointment tomorrow just to have it confirmed for sure that it is a girl and to see our little munchkin again! I will post tomorrow if we find out anything different! If not, then we will be very excited waiting for little miss Maiyah Serenity Groft to arrive on January 30, 2009!

GIRL!!

And we are so excited! We had a normal Dr.'s appointment on the 17th and she couldn't figure it out. She said if she had to guess she would guess a girl because she thought she saw three lines, then she paused and said......Or those could be toes:-D We had some anxious family members in Vegas so they told us about a clinic in SLC that spends lots of time with you and are really good at finding out the sex. So we were scheduled for an appointment for a gender determination ultrasound. At first "it" was being a little stink and everything we did "it" would move its little bum farther and farther back until wham, her little bum is facing at us and her little legs were open:-D And it definitely looked like a little girl, there is a possibilty that it can change since I am only 16 weeks but the tech seemed pretty sure. We are both so happy and excited! I couldn't believe what I saw on the ultrasound pictures, she was just moving all over, lounging all comfortably...We love her so much already its crazy! 3 YeArS oF wEdDeD bLiSs!

On July 8th the hubs and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary! I still can't believe it has been 3 years! It has just flown by and it really has been great. Of course there are the ups and downs of marriage and living with the opposite sex, but through it all we've made it and are closer than we have ever been. I am pretty sure I caught the best fish in the sea, and I am so lucky! He is so supportive, loving, and does much more than I do around the house and the yard! Ecspecially lately since I have been sick he basically has picked up all the chores and does them without a complaint and smiles the whole time! He is the best. He works so hard at his job to provide us with such a nice life. So basically he is the whole package and then some:-D

We were able to celebrate our anniversary camping in our new trailer! It was so much fun! We started in Idaho camping with my family and then headed to Bear Lake. It was so much fun and I had forgotten how beautiful Bear Lake was. We rode four wheelers, swam, went to Minnetonka Cave, went to an ice cave, had some yummy dinners, spent time with the Capron's and Shepherd's,played games, roasted marshmallows, and just spent time together. One of the highlights of the trip was we went to the Pickleville Playhouse and saw The Hanging of El Bandito. Ok, so first off my husband doesn not really like plays, I am pretty sure he agreed to this because I love plays however this play was HILARIOUS! He laughed harder than I did and it was the best play I have seen in a long time! Seriously if you get a chance to get down there check it out! It was awesome! I didn't take my camera with me very much and only got a few pictures. But we had a blast and we hope to get some more camping in! We loved it even our little Shiloh had a great time!!

A BUN IN THE OVEN!:-D

We are happy to announce that we are expecting our first little one! I am 12weeks along and due on January 30, 2010! We couldn't be more happy, excited and nervous all at the same time! Everything is going good, I have been sick but that is part of the process....I do hear that it is worth it in the end so I am just plugging along!;-D We should be able to find out at our next appointment on August 17 what we are having. We both do not care what we are having and are just so excited to find out so we can go shopping for the little one!

Two Years Ago.........

Two years ago on July 7 we lost this beautiful girl! She was such an amazing person with an amazing personality and made everyone smile everywhere she went. I am so thankful for the gospel that helps get me through the toughest of days because I know one day I will get so see her smiling face and hear her laugh again. I know she is the happiest she has ever been because I can feel her happiness whenever I think about her or whenever I start to get down and sad that she is gone. I love this girl and was so priveleged to know her and be her best friend. I love you Beana! And can't wait until the day I get to see you again!

This bill would cost you around 36.01, if your an Albertson's Preferred card holder GREAT DEAL right!?!? Well as good of a deal as most people think this is......I got all of this for a whopping $5.66! I KNOW RIGHT!! This bill would have been around $60-65 if you didn't have an Albies card! This time I really felt like I was robbing the store! The sweet cashier just kept scanning in those coupons and I just kept watching my total go down down and down! So 25 items for $5.66 ahhh now thats saving money! The receipt bodly states that I saved $63.86 today! AWESOME! I am so happy that I am done with school, and I have started this up again because it saves so much money and your food storage starts building up so you don't always have to run to the grocery store you can just shop out of your pantry! I am so thankful to my two friends Tanya and Nicole who got me into this! It helps us out a ton! If any of you want information....let me know, I said this before and just didn't do anything but REALLY I want to help you save money! So let me know! Now my bragging is done have a great night!

My friend Tanya is very good friends with this family and is trying to get the word out so they can have a really big turnout for this fundraiser and raise alot of money for 3 year old Briggs. Briggs father is a country singer and has helped many many other children by having benefit concerts in their behalf to raise money to help them with their medical situations, now the family is going through this hard time and its time for people to pay it forward and help them out. SuNdAy HiKe!!

This last Sunday the Hubby and I decided that we would wake up early and hike to the waterfall that we can see from our back patio up in the mountains. It was so nice! The weather was perfect and it was a beautiful hike! We took our furry child, and believe it or not Miss Priss did really good! She suprised us both! Our dog is the girliest dog you will ever meet. She doesn't walk she prances! It is so funny! But we had a great time hiking and enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery! If you like you hike, this hike is a must! It is beautiful, I wish I could build a house up there! It would be amazing!!

This was up towards the top, it got really rocky but was still pretty easy to hike up. We had to carry the furry one a little bit of the ways:-D The view of the waterfall on our way up!

Yep, this is a brag about my husband post but I just couldn't resist! So here it goes: Yesterday as I was walking out of work, I notice the truck I had driven to work was missing.....as panic started to sweep over me. I had just walked the entire length of the parking lot and it was no where to be seen(Its not hard to miss when the license plate reads LIV4GOLF) I looked behind me and there was my husband in the truck with a big grin as he saw the look of panic and confusion on my face, No this is not the bragging part, coming to pick me up. He had made up stories all afternoon and so I had no idea what was going on. As far as I knew he was working and the chicken I was supposed to cook that night was defrosting just waiting for me.
We drove off to the frontrunner station and road that down to Salt Lake to have some dinner and pay a visit to the chocolate store:-D Then we road home. It was so nice not worrying about traffic, or parking, and just being able to enjoy the ride and have good conversation. He is always full of little suprises for me! I love how giddy he gets when he knows he totally threw me for a loop and I have no idea whats going on and its 100% a suprise. And I think the fact that he saw me freaking out thinking our vehicle had been stolen made it even better for him. I love this guy he is the best! I think I will keep him!

A couple weekends ago my mom, grandma and I made our way up to Logan, yes Logan, UT, for our annual girls trip. Why Logan you ask, well it is convenient for my sweet little grandma, and they offer a Getaway Package that is really affordable so we have more money to shop with:-D We had a great time this year! We shopped, went to a movie, ate out at fun restaurants, and had so much fun! I love to be able to spend time with my Mom and Grandma they are both amazing woman and I look up to both of them so much. Here are a few pictures of our fun trip!

My Sweet Grandma has a bad hip, so at each store we were able to get her to ride an electric wheelchair, I must say there were several times when I stole it away from her:-D They are fun to drive and nice to sit down after all that shopping!

This is a tradition, don't ask how it started because frankly I have no idea. But for the last two now three years I have a picture of me and my mom in the dressing room of JcPenny's.Its fun to see the changes from each year. My mother gets more beautiful each year and me....well I look less like my daddy each year and more like this beautiful woman.

I was finally able to get my pictures from my fabulous trip uploaded! It was so much fun! We had a few really great days and were able to lay out and get a little bit of a tan as for the other days we kepts busy with shopping, a dolphin cruise, eating, relaxing, movies, and Ali's Entertainment. This was a much needed vacation and I enjoyed myself so much! My favorite part of the trip was the Dolphin Safari we went on! IT WAS GREAT!! I love dolphins, and was squealing like a little girl when we started to see them! I could have stayed out there for HOURS just watching them. I took over 100 pictures and about 20 videos of them, so I posted a few pictures and here is video. Please if you can hear the Audio, just ignore my squeals of delight and the jabbering of my fellow shipmates:0D We ate alot of good food and went to two different outdoor malls! They were so beautiful. I love the landscaping out there! I could definetly see myself living in Cali....I just have to convince the hubby although golf all year round may just do the trick. We also did a little gambling, it was Ali's first time and she had beginners luck! She was up about $50, but then lost it all trying to win millions. The rest of us, well lets just say we left the Casino empty handed! Our last day we went down to Laguna Beach to enjoy the Ocean and look at the town. It was a cute little town and the Ocean ahhh was awesome, really I think I could be an ocean bum and just live in a hut on the beach. To sum it all up the trip was amazing, we had so much fun and so many good memories to take home. Thanks ladies for such a fun trip and the many many laughs!

I am seriously SO BLESSED with amazing family and friends in my life! I was beyond spoiled when it came to celebrating my day of graduation!! It started out by my sweet husband giving me a very nice card with some play money for PaLm SpRiNgS!! Then, I was told that I had to be ready around 9:00-9:30....when I got a knock at the door around that time I opened it to find my sweet friend Nicole, at my door ready to take me out to celebrate! She took me to breakfast and then to get a pedicure!! I was so thankful for some girl time and girl talk so that was such an amazing suprise!! (Thanks again Nicole, it meant more to me than you will ever know!) Then I went home got ready and went to the school to help get everything in order. It was so nice to have so many of my friends and family at my graduation to show their support, it meant so much so thank you to all of you who made it and all of the sweet texts, emails, and comments people made! After the graduation I had one more suprise......my sweet friends "The Seagers" had gotten Curtis and I a hotel room in Layton! They were also staying there so we were able to hang out with them that evening! It was alot of fun! (Thanks so much you guys we had a GREAT time!!) It feels amazing to be done!! I leave today for PaLm SpRiNgS and I cannot wait! It will be a fantastic way to end my year of hard work and stuffing my brain full of "stuff":-D Thanks again to everyone for your support! Well thats it....I am DONE with school and graduate this SATURDAY!! I cannot believe it! This year, although at some points went so slow, went very fast! I love these girls and will miss seeing them each week, but I know we will stay close friends! We have a really fun graduation planned and I can't wait to have that to finalize this whole adventure! Thanks to all of you for all your love and support! And now all I can say is I AM READY FOR PALM SPRINGS!!

You do a post about the BACHELOR:-D But I am going to do it anyway so please feel free to read or not I just need to VENT. Yes I got completely addicted to this season of the Bachelor....why you ask? well you have a GREAT NICE guy on there who has had his heart broken and is "just searching for love" and has an adorabel son and "just wants a family" and seems to be a really great great guy. Then you have two SWEET, NICE, CARING ladies Melissa and Molly. So how did the FiNaLe go you ask?!? JUST HOW I WANTED IT TO he picked Melissa, sweet little freckled faced Melissa. They seemed to go together so well, she was so in love and so happy(thus the squeals of delight) that he proposed and well he seemed to feel the same way but THEN......................SIX SHORT WEEKS later he is done with Melissa and wants MOLLY BACK?! He breaks up with Melissa on public television and tells her basically he made the WRONG decision and he LOVED MOLLY....Hmmmmm. Well Molly comes out, not knowing ANY of this just happened and he lays it out for her.......SHE WAS SPEACHLESS.........for about a minute...........and they then decided that the classy thing to do was to MAKEOUT on the couch to humiliate and crush Melissa EVEN MORE! REAL CLASSY. So needless to say, I think Jason is an I-D-I-O-T. I can see if he realized he loved Molly more, but come on to break up with your FIANCE and then kiss "THE OTHER WOMAN" in the same day.......in the same hour.........that says something about a person. BLAH!

So there is my vent. I really hope that Melissa finds someone great or becomes the next BACHELORETTE. Poor girl. And Molly....WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!

6 WEEKS AND 17 CLASSES LEFT!!

These are the girls I spend all my Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights with....My massage class!! We are all getting so excited because we are on the countdown to the end of school! It seems like just yesterday I was talking about starting school and here I am 17 days(only counting T,W, TH) away from being done!! I graduate on March 14, 2009 and then its off to the massage world I go!!
Our class is also so excited for the fabulous trip to PALM SPRINGS we are taking when we graduate as a congratulations to ourselves!! As you can see I am counting down both graduation and that trip cause I am just super excited!! Our whole class has grown so close and I love it. These girls will be a part of my life forever they all have such different, fun, unique qualities about them that have helped me so much in this year of my life.
This is pretty much the only exciting thing that has happened lately.....counting the days left of school(boring life I know) so I just had to post about it:-D

Nothing is better than going out with a bunch of girls and having fun! A group of us decided that once a month we were going to establish a GNO and Saturday was our first one! It was so much fun! We went iceskating, I think the last time I did this I was in Jr. High so it was so much fun! We had a few falls, and a few of them were trying out some tricks that ended up in falling or crashing into each other! It was such great night! Thanks Angie for planning such a fun night and I can't wait until next month!!

AND POURS IT HAS!!!!

So this is the rain:
It all started on Tuesday when I received and awful screaming/panicked/painful phone call from my husband around 5. He told me to hurry home because he had just got his fingers caught in the snow blower! So there I am frantically running around work getting all my stuff so I can hurry and get home. I knew it must have been pretty bad because my hubby is one tough cookie and he was not to calm when he called. So I called my parents to run over there since I was 15 minutes away from home and it was the day of that awful SNOW STORM! So here I am driving frantically to try to get home! I finally got home and immediately took him to the Dr. where we found out..........3 fractures in his fingers along with his pointer finger knuckle being shattered.....OH THE JOY. So they referred us to a Hand specialist we went there yesterday and he told us he wanted to let the fingers loose some swelling(they are like 3 times bigger than normal) and see how the bones settle?! So we go back in a week to see if surgery is needed....I pray we don’t need to! My husband absolutely HATES needles, blood, cutting etc etc :-D

And this is when it POURED:
So yesterday I was coming home from school just minding my own business when OUT OF NOWHERE a DEER decided to RUN INTO MY CAR! Yes I typed that correctly IT ran into my car! Right at my door and then decided to hit the rest of the car on the way down......Ok so I am sure it didn’t decide to do this but ya know what mean!.......It smashed in my door so bad I couldn’t even open the door, the mirror is dangling and the dent is so big! AHHHH! So now we have to have it in the shop to get fixed! CRAPPP(thank goodness for car insurance)!! Luckily my husband works for AVIS CAR SALES and will be able to have a car to drive while I drive his
truck around(this I don’t mind). Do you want to know what happened to the Deer?! Well I dont know because it was nowhere to be found! Hopefully it lived and will not try to commit suicide any time soon again!
So they say bad things happen in 3's hmmmm WHAT CAN HAPPEN NEXT! I am thinking I might just go out and speed to get myself a ticket cause at this rate I really don’t want to find out what #3 is!

Morgan: Why yes officer I needed #3 on my bad luck chain to happen so I was speeding and driving erractically and I figured I’d get it before anything could happen to me so please just write me out a ticket...Thankyou!

So my sweet friend Nicole has gotten my into saving tons of money on grocerys and other frun products through webistes like PYP and Iheartwags. Well this week there was a GREAT deal at Walgreens so I decided to give it a try! They had their Progresso Soups on sale for 4/$5 they also had their Ben and Jerrys Icecream on sale for 2/$6. On each of the webistes they had different coupons. On PYP they had an offer on Ben & Jerrys, if you entered in your email address they would email you a $3.00 off coupon and you could print it twice! On Iheartwags they had a coupon for $1.10 off one can of progresso soup. You can print 2 coupons per computer. So this is what I ended up with......

12 cans of soup=$1.92

6 Pints of B&J's=FREE

1 A1 Steak sauce=$1.08(I had a $1 off coupon)

TOTAL=$3.25

CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE THAT!?! My total without any coupons would have been around $35.00! And I got it for $3.25! This program is so great! I have had many other deals to! Happy Birthday........To ME!

My Birthday was on December 7, and I am posting this post not to wish myself a happy birthday but to brag a little bit about my husband and HOW AMAZING he is! For quite sometime now he kept telling me that we were just going to have a nice relaxing day, breakfast, movie, dinner, and have my family come over for cake and icecream. That sounded way nice to me so I was excited for some time with him and some relaxation time! Well the day started just as he said it would we went to breakfast and then started to head the the "Layton Movie". As we were driving he told me to open my card and the first present. The card told me exactly what we were doing! Breakfast, movie, and then we are heading up to Park City to stay the night in a Suite and go to dinner at Ruth's Chris(my all time FAVORITE Steakhouse). Of cour me being the girly girly I am was thinking what about clothes, shoes, makeup etc. etc. He had taken care of it all and had packed for me! He did an amazing job! He even had called my work and scheduled the time off for me! So after him telling me he had taken care of everything off we went! We saw the movie Four Christmases! It was super good and very funny! Then we headed up to Park City. We went into old town and went to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and got some YUMMY goodies then went back to the room(which was absolutely amazing) to get ready for dinner! Dinner was AMAZING! MMMM! Seriously if you guys haven't been there you need to go! The steak melts in your mouth, the garlic mashed potatoes are to die for and the sweet potato casserole is HEAVENLY! MMMmmm! It is pretty pricey but well worth it! Then when we got back to the room we lounged in the hot tub in our room, and he gave me a massage! Yes I am going to massage school but my sweet husband had packed up my massage table and gave me one! He is REALLY good! I seriously have the best husband! He is always trying to find ways to suprise me and spoil me and he does an excellent job!

For Thanksgiving this year we packed up and headed out to Curtis' families property in Junction, UT. We had a lot of fun being with his family that we don't get to see alot and eating so much yummy food! We also enjoyed riding our 4Wheelers, and cutting down our own Christmas Tree. Last night My two sweet grandmas, my aunt, my mom and me went to the play Aida at the Washington Terrace Playhouse. I saw this play for the first time about three weeks ago with my friend adrienne and her granddaughter Kindsey and loved it so much I wanted to go back so we turned it into a girls night out! We went to dinner at Iggys and then to the play. If you want to see an amazing play with amazing talent in it you have got to go see this one! It is so good, I love plays and this one is a Love Story so it made it even better! They stop doing this play November 14 so get in and see it! And if you go CALL ME I would go again!

Fun Lunch With a GrEaT Friend....Body Worlds....Spouse Club....and MoRe GOLF!

On October 17, my great friend Lindsey was in town for a short little break away from school so we were able to meet up and go to lunch! Her Birthday was on October 21 so we were able to celebrate her birthday to! It was so fun catching up with her and hearing all of her fun stories! I love this girl! Her and I get each other so well. Throughout growing up we always had this crazy connection with each other. We can just get each other so well its sometimes creepy!:-D We have gone through a lot together and through it all we are still best friends and I cannot wait for the many years to come! We ate lunch at Peletons! YUM! If you have not been there you really need to go there! It is right by the Ogden bridge sign and the river. It has a great atmosphere and best of all you can sit outside on their patio and enjoy the river and scenery. After lunch we went and visited our best friend Jana. It is really hard when we get together because it just feels like she should be with us. Instead, we go visit her and feel her spirit. We both loved her more than anything in the world and miss her everyday....but we know she is very happy where she is! WE LOVE YOU BEANA! Earlier that day I had gone to the body worlds exhibit with my Massage school! Talk about amazing! The human body is absolutely incredible! It was a neat experience to go to this once...I dont think I could do it again but it was a very good one time thing! Here is a pic of Ali, her mom, and Me.

Then after all of this we had our October spouse club activity!(VERY BUSY DAY!) This activity was a activity that invovled all the Kiddos that belong to the Avis/Thrifty crew! We had a pumpkin carve. We had a good turnout and had a great time! Here are a few pics of that activity.

Then we decided to end this week with a group of us going golfing! It was a great way to end a VERY BUSY, but fun, week! Here are a few pics of all of us out golfing!

Really I am horrible at this whole blogging thing:-D I posted exactly 1 month ago! I am just going to throw on here the pictures that have been taken and update you on what has happened over the last month!

*Two weeks ago we had our Annual Girls trip to Park City! We rent a condo and stay the night. Well this year we decided that one night was just not enough so we stayed for 2 nights! It was so much fun! We shopped, ate, and had a lot of fun! Here are the pics from our fun little getaway!

With my massage school we have to do some off sight events, well me and my FaVoRiTe PeRsOn, Ali, signed up for an event up and McKay Dee for a chair massage event! It was alot of fun! The first picture is of John, he was the teacher on duty:-D And then of course me and Ali!

Curtis and I went down to Vegas for a good family friends farewell......no pictures of the but on our way home we stopped in Fillmore and went golfing! I must say I did really good....now when I say really good, I mean really good for me and basically HORRIBLE for others! It was the best golf game I have ever played and after that I could see why people actually LIKE GOLF! I had a blast! My husband is seriously just amazing at golf and he has been a good support and teacher! Here are some pics of our day out on the course! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!On October 1, it was my amazing friend Deannas Birthday! Nicole, Amber, and I suprised her by taking her out to dinner and the comedy club! I only two pictures the first one is of her as we showed up at her door, and the second one we are at Roosters for dinner! Then the next day her husband threw her a party at Sparetime Family Fun Center, and we all went bowling! It was very fun to help celebrate her birthday I love her to death! I cannot believe I have not posted anything since the end of JULY! And you probably haven't got any comments from me since then either! Please accept my apologies! Work, school, church callings, and spouse clubs have totally eaten all my time! Don't get me wrong I love them all, but WOW DOES TIME FLY! Really though since my last post not much has happened! And really I dont have to many pics, but I thought I would give a little update as to why it has been almost two months! And I now vow to comment on everyones blog!:-D

This is the entire reason WHY I have been SO BUSY! SCHOOL! Not school in general but ANATOMY! This was a very difficult class with a HUGE final! We were all freaking out before the 150 question final on muscles, insertions, origins, actions, and other anatomy StuFf! After taking the class I am happy to say that I PASSED THE CLASS! All the hard work, and HOURS UPON HOURS of studying really paid off! Here are some pics of our class there are only 6 of us! The first ones are of us before the test, and the last one is four of us who basically took a good 2-3 hours to finish the test and we ALL PASSED!

Since my last post we have had THREE Avis Spouse Club activities! The July Activity we went Bowling and out to dinner and then the AUGUST Activiy we went to dinner and then to the Comedy Improv Show and the Washington Terrace Playhouse then for the September acitivty we went to the Tavernacle, to see their piano duel show! All of the activities were alot of fun! Since our husbands all work so many hours, its nice to have a group of girls you can hang out with and complain about the hours our husbands work because they ALL FEEL THE SAME WAY! They are all great and I love planning the activities and love love hanging out with all of them!

On August 14, 2008 it was my LiTtLe GoObErs Birthday!(aka Stetsen) We went to a movie and then out to dinner! I cannot believe how old he is getting! He started 7th grade this year! When I look at him I still think of him as 5 years old! He is the baby and will always be the baby! I love him so much!

On September 5, 2008 it was my brother Austins Birthday! NOW HE IS OLD! I cannot believe it! Out of school and working FULL TIME! It is crazy how fast time flies! He was the one that I would always fight with growing up, his main goal in life was to annoy me and he DID A GOOD JOB! Now that we are both older I consider him a GREAT FRIEND as well as a brother! I love him so much! He has grown up and is a hard working man! AND, If anyone knows of a GIRL that would like to BE SET UP let me know!
We also went down to Vegas for our Great friends baby blessing! I did not have my camera! UGH! I hate when that happens! So I stole some pics off of her blog! I hope she doesnt get to mad! But I had to show off this baby! He is a doll! They are the sweetest couple and are GREAT PARENTS to sweet little Eli! It was so fun to see them and meet the baby! It was also great to see Curtis's family! It is hard with them not living here we do not get to see them very often!

Today is the HALFWAY POINT for school!! AHH! I cannot believe it! I am super excited I am ready to get out there and work at a spa! I also only have about 2 1/2 months left of student clinic! I am doing more hours on saturday so I can get it done sooner and get my Saturdays back! That has really been hard! But I am almost there!

My brother is in Houston, Texas right now for a company he occasionally works for. He was there through all of Hurricane Ike! Luckily it was not near as bad as they had predicted! He said he slept through the whole thing! He is to funny! I am just so happy he is ok!

I think those were basically the main events! It has been a crazy couple of months with all that is going on but it has also been so much fun! I know there isn't much about Curtis and I, but we are great! Just when we have done things I have not had my camera! I need to get better at that! I hope to be a more regular blog poster, but we all know how life gets, it just starts to run away from us! I will also be more faithful in leaving comments!

Brett Dennen, Colbie Caillat, and JOHN MAYER Concert!!

Yesterday my mom and I went to the Brett Dennen, Colbie Caillat and John Mayer concert at the Usana Ampitheatre! It was AWESOME! Brett Dennen is an up and coming artist! He has a really good voice! Check out the song "Just Like The Moon" if you haven't heard any of his music it's really good!

The next artist was COLBIE CAILLAT! She is amazing! I love love love her songs and her voice! She was super cute and did an AwEsOmE job! I could have listened to her alot longer! Here are a few pics of her!

Then last but certainly not LEAST JoHn MaYeR! I "Heart" him! He was incredible! He obviously has an amazing voice, but his guitar playing skills were sick! He was so fun to watch! He was funny to, and not to bad to look at:-P. This was a really fun night! I would go watch it all over again thats how amazing it was! The weather was perfect, the artists were amazing, and company I was with was GrEaT! So today is our 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! I can't believe its already been two years! It feels like we were just married! I can honestly say I snatched up the best
husband:-D I know everyone says that there husband is the best, but honesty mine takes the cake! He is such an amazing and caring person and I love spending every free minute we have with each other! We celebrated this weekend by going golfing, spending the weekend at the Windsong Lodge at the Alaskan Inn, and just spending quality time together. It was a very relazing enjoyable weekend spent with the the person I love the very most. Even though we were only 15 minutes from home it felts like we were miles away! I love how being with that special person can do that! It feels like there is noone else in the world but the two of you! I can't wait to spend many many more years together! Curtis, Thank you so much for the great weekend and for being patient during our game of golf:-D I love you with all my heart! Thanks for being such an amazing man! Thanks again for the amazing gifts! They were very thoughtful! I LOVE YOU!!

In Loving Memory of My Best Friend

One year ago today my best friend was suddenly taken from me. I still cannot believe one year has gone by without her in my life. That day I heard the news it was like I lost two people at once, my best friend and my sister. This sweet girl meant the world to me and always will. I will never forget that amazing smile she had and how she could just light up a room by walking in it. I love to think about all the amazing memories we made together. From our long talks about life, to camping trips, weekend getaways, spice girls videos, lunches taken, playing in her back yard with her animals she loved, and playing dress up and many many more. I have so many fun stories and memories about this girl that I will cherish for a lifetime. These pictures are mostly all on my wedding day but they were all I had on my computer. I love to replay this day over and over because she is with me all day. I am so thankful for the gospel in my life because it constantly helps me get through the rough days. I feel her close to me a lot and I love that feeling. I know she is just fine where she is and is the happiest she has been in a long time. She will always be rememebered for her sweet spirit and her being so caring towards everyone she met.

I can't believe it's time already but it's now time for me to start my student clinics for massage therapy school! I start this SATURDAY! I'm super nervous and excited all at the same time. So here goes my spill:-D If anyone would like a one hour massage please call 621-4158 to set up an appointment with me(Morgan Groft)! I am there on Saturdays from 9am-1pm, the massages are $25 but right now I have a stack of refferal cards to hand out for $5 off! So a ONE HOUR MASSAGE FOR $20! You can't beat that. Granted it is in a school like setting and not an actual Day Spa but it is still relaxing! I went to one a couple of weeks ago from student that is about 6 months ahead of me and it was great even being in a school setting! So if you'd like an hour of relaxation for a great price call and set up an appointment and then let me know so I can get you a discount card! If you wanted to make it a girls day out, or a date out, I can also give you another name of a student if you both wanted to come at the same time! I had to post about my friends new little bundle of joy, this is little Damia Abigail! Derai is the proud new Mommy and Ben is the proud new daddy! Poor Derai was so incredibly sick throughout her entire pregnancy and she finally recieved her reward for those awful months! These two couldn't deserve a child more! They will make great parents! Congratulations you guys!

So every now and the my husbands work(Avis Car Sales if you need a car he can get you a GrEaT deal:-D)throws out spiffs that if they hit a certain amount of cars a month we get to go on a little getaway. We've gone to Wendover, Mesquite, and Snowbirt. They are so much fun! We were missing quite a bit of the Avis crew but we all still had a blast. Here are just a few pics of the trip. And yes you DO get in trouble if you take pictures in a CaSiNo just FYI! We were kindly told not to take pictures on the first pic of me and curtis but then me and steph were super sneaky and got a pic in anyway! ReBeLs:-D But anyways that was just something that happened that I'd thought i'd blog about. I need to start taking more pictures!

Ok so I know mothers day was a bit ago but I just wanted to get a picture up of my three favorite "mothers". First is my very own mother. Man do I love this woman! She is not only my mother but my best best friend. She is always there for me when I need her, and gives great advise. She also is so much fun to hang out with and be goofy with! I love her so much, she has done so much for me and I would not be where I am today if it weren't for her. She is very unselfish and will give you the shirt off her back even if it were the last one she had. Then my two grand"mothers" they are amazing! I love them both so so much! They both are completely different and have helped me out so much and have always been there for me cheering my on in whatever I did. I love them so very much. So thats my spill about the three most important, amazing, woman in my life! Happy be-lated blog Mothers day:-D

Ok, so i'm really bad at this blogging thing but here are some pics of our Hawaii trip! We had a BLAST! I am ready to go back NOW! We stayed on Oahu on the North Shore and it was beautiful! I will for sure go back someday. I had a great time with my family and loved every minute of it! Thanks again mom and dad for taking us we had a blast!!

We are heading for HaWaIi!! We leave by Limo in seven hours! It is one in the morning and we just finished up with the packing and getting final touches ready! We've suprised my family by renting a limo to take us to the airport and pick us up when we return home! I can't wait to see the look on their faces! Our flight leaves around noon and then its beach and sunshine for a FULL WEEK! Go ahead be jEaLoUs! JK! I'll get pictures posted up when we get back!! Have a great week!! XOXO

This is our little baby girl Shiloh. I thought I'd post about her, since the people with kids post about their kids I should post about mine right?! We adopted her about 8 months ago from a family that just couldn't give her the attention she needed. She has been the perfect pet and I wouldnt give her up for anything! It so funny how animals personalitys reflect those of their owners and her's fits us to a T. She is also a FrIsBeE playing BaLl playing addict!During Hawaii we have to board her and I know I'm going to cry when I leave her! HAHA PaThEtIc I know! But anyways here are a few pics of our "BaBy"!

Each year around the spring time my mom, grandma and I go on a weekend getaway. We always go to Logan. It sounds really strange but its close and for my grandma that works best. Well its official! I am now a student at Ogden Institute of Massage Therapy! Orientation was on Monday and my first class was yesterday! I'm really excited! I was the one that thought massage therapy would be somewhat easy WRONG! We had our first anatomy class last night and WOW I have alot to learn but am ready and excited. It is one year long and I go Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights from 6:00pm-10:00pm and then starting in June I go on Saturdays for a few hours for the student clinics! I'm sure its going to go really fast I just need to learn to balance my life and schedule! My poor husband will have to CoOk for himself....hope he survives:-D No he'll do great he has been super supportive and is cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry already to help me out! I've got a keeper thats for sure! Anyways thats the scoop on whats going on in my life right now! XOXO

So my friends husband mentioned this website to me and I'm totally hooked on it now! It's what I listen to at work now! So if your ever just home and want to listen to GOOD music of your choice and NO commercials this is the website to go to! You can type in the artists you like or the songs you like and it just starts playing those songs and songs like those! Its awesome! My Husband and I along with My Mom, Dad, and three younger brothers are eagerly anticipating our upcoming vacation to HAWAII!! This trip was our Christmas gift! We were way to spoiled by our parents this year!! We cannot wait so I had to do a countdown! Now I can know down to the seconds how much longer we have until we leave!
