GNO!!!

Nothing is better than going out with a bunch of girls and having fun! A group of us decided that once a month we were going to establish a GNO and Saturday was our first one! It was so much fun! We went iceskating, I think the last time I did this I was in Jr. High so it was so much fun! We had a few falls, and a few of them were trying out some tricks that ended up in falling or crashing into each other! It was such great night! Thanks Angie for planning such a fun night and I can't wait until next month!!

When it rains..............IT POURS!!!!

AND POURS IT HAS!!!!

So this is the rain:
It all started on Tuesday when I received and awful screaming/panicked/painful phone call from my husband around 5. He told me to hurry home because he had just got his fingers caught in the snow blower! So there I am frantically running around work getting all my stuff so I can hurry and get home. I knew it must have been pretty bad because my hubby is one tough cookie and he was not to calm when he called. So I called my parents to run over there since I was 15 minutes away from home and it was the day of that awful SNOW STORM! So here I am driving frantically to try to get home! I finally got home and immediately took him to the Dr. where we found out..........3 fractures in his fingers along with his pointer finger knuckle being shattered.....OH THE JOY. So they referred us to a Hand specialist we went there yesterday and he told us he wanted to let the fingers loose some swelling(they are like 3 times bigger than normal) and see how the bones settle?! So we go back in a week to see if surgery is needed....I pray we don’t need to! My husband absolutely HATES needles, blood, cutting etc etc :-D

And this is when it POURED:
So yesterday I was coming home from school just minding my own business when OUT OF NOWHERE a DEER decided to RUN INTO MY CAR! Yes I typed that correctly IT ran into my car! Right at my door and then decided to hit the rest of the car on the way down......Ok so I am sure it didn’t decide to do this but ya know what mean!.......It smashed in my door so bad I couldn’t even open the door, the mirror is dangling and the dent is so big! AHHHH! So now we have to have it in the shop to get fixed! CRAPPP(thank goodness for car insurance)!! Luckily my husband works for AVIS CAR SALES and will be able to have a car to drive while I drive his
truck around(this I don’t mind). Do you want to know what happened to the Deer?! Well I dont know because it was nowhere to be found! Hopefully it lived and will not try to commit suicide any time soon again!
So they say bad things happen in 3's hmmmm WHAT CAN HAPPEN NEXT! I am thinking I might just go out and speed to get myself a ticket cause at this rate I really don’t want to find out what #3 is!

Officer: Ma'am do you know why I pulled you over
Morgan: Why yes officer I needed #3 on my bad luck chain to happen so I was speeding and driving erractically and I figured I’d get it before anything could happen to me so please just write me out a ticket...Thankyou!

So.....everyone look out we are on the roads, we are out in public, and the hubby operates cars for a living....just avoid us for a week or so, we’d hate to have anyone there with us when #3 hits:-D

NOW THIS MAKES ME HAPPY!!

So my sweet friend Nicole has gotten my into saving tons of money on grocerys and other frun products through webistes like PYP and Iheartwags. Well this week there was a GREAT deal at Walgreens so I decided to give it a try! They had their Progresso Soups on sale for 4/$5 they also had their Ben and Jerrys Icecream on sale for 2/$6. On each of the webistes they had different coupons. On PYP they had an offer on Ben & Jerrys, if you entered in your email address they would email you a $3.00 off coupon and you could print it twice! On Iheartwags they had a coupon for $1.10 off one can of progresso soup. You can print 2 coupons per computer. So this is what I ended up with......

12 cans of soup=$1.92

6 Pints of B&J's=FREE

1 A1 Steak sauce=$1.08(I had a $1 off coupon)

TOTAL=$3.25

CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE THAT!?! My total without any coupons would have been around $35.00! And I got it for $3.25! This program is so great! I have had many other deals to! It saves money and you get a lot of things for FREE! YEP FREE! Its so much fun and gives you more money to spend on fun things like going to movies, dinners, vacations instead of food! The True Meaning of Christmas

I recieved this email from a friend and thougth that I would post it. It just bring CHRISTmas back into prospective and helped me remember through all the gift buying, Christmas parties, decorations, the planning, the goodies etc. That there is a much more meaningful part to Christmas.....the reason why we have Christmas. Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"

JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly

JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is HO HO HO

JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says "You better not cry"

JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.

Santa's little helpers make toys

JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but

JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree

JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison.

We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

We need to put Christ back in Christmas.

Jesus is still the reason for the season.

Happy Birthday........To ME!

My Birthday was on December 7, and I am posting this post not to wish myself a happy birthday but to brag a little bit about my husband and HOW AMAZING he is! For quite sometime now he kept telling me that we were just going to have a nice relaxing day, breakfast, movie, dinner, and have my family come over for cake and icecream. That sounded way nice to me so I was excited for some time with him and some relaxation time! Well the day started just as he said it would we went to breakfast and then started to head the the "Layton Movie". As we were driving he told me to open my card and the first present. The card told me exactly what we were doing! Breakfast, movie, and then we are heading up to Park City to stay the night in a Suite and go to dinner at Ruth's Chris(my all time FAVORITE Steakhouse). Of cour me being the girly girly I am was thinking what about clothes, shoes, makeup etc. etc. He had taken care of it all and had packed for me! He did an amazing job! He even had called my work and scheduled the time off for me! So after him telling me he had taken care of everything off we went! We saw the movie Four Christmases! It was super good and very funny! Then we headed up to Park City. We went into old town and went to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and got some YUMMY goodies then went back to the room(which was absolutely amazing) to get ready for dinner! Dinner was AMAZING! MMMM! Seriously if you guys haven't been there you need to go! The steak melts in your mouth, the garlic mashed potatoes are to die for and the sweet potato casserole is HEAVENLY! MMMmmm! It is pretty pricey but well worth it! Then when we got back to the room we lounged in the hot tub in our room, and he gave me a massage! Yes I am going to massage school but my sweet husband had packed up my massage table and gave me one! He is REALLY good! I seriously have the best husband! He is always trying to find ways to suprise me and spoil me and he does an excellent job!

For Thanksgiving this year we packed up and headed out to Curtis' families property in Junction, UT. We had a lot of fun being with his family that we don't get to see alot and eating so much yummy food! We also enjoyed riding our 4Wheelers, and cutting down our own Christmas Tree. Here are some pictures we took while we were there. There are alot of scenery pictures....sorry I just love to take them! Hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving and is gearing up for Christmas! XOXO
